Meet The Wine Sisters
The Wine Sisters was founded in 2011 by sister sommeliers (yep, they’re really sisters) Erin and Courtney Henderson, and has become Toronto’s leading sommelier services and wine events company.
With Erin now acting as Chief Somm and Party Planner, our team has grown to include an amazing group of passionate, savvy, professional “sister” sommeliers who have all earned their advanced wine and sommelier certifications from various institutions and schools.

You Could Say Wine Runs in the Family
Hi wine lovers, Erin here. I’m the Chief Wino and Party Planner at The Wine Sisters. That’s a picture of my sister, Courtney, and me, waaaay back in the beginning of the company, but the story goes much further back than that.
Wine is definitely in our blood thanks to a lifetime of immersion through our Dad. When we were kids, our Dad worked in the wine business as well, and he would travel the wine regions of the world, and return with enchanting tales of the champagne caves in France or the impossibly steep vineyard slopes in Germany.
We like to joke that when all the other kids were learning to ride their bikes, we were learning about fermentation. Except it’s not a joke, that actually happened.
Well, Courtney’s now moved on to other exciting vinous adventures – but don’t worry she still appears on our Instagram from time to time, and continues to be my sounding board for all things related to TWS. And I now have my own “family” of wine sisters – an amazing group of smart, savvy women sommeliers who simply kick ass at entertaining, educating and sharing their love, experience and knowledge of wine.
Since 2011, we’ve been honoured to create incredible experiences for wine lovers across the province and beyond. We’d love for you to become part of our story as well.
